the drug nurse

screen door
represent
our symmetry
our worlds collide
duality

no leaves
left to fall
for halloween
next week
but the bug spray
still outside
now frozen
to the touch

her eyes
always look
so over our heads
as the sunrise fog
descends

sad nurse
on the night bus
ive seen ghosts
who look
like you .

anyway
the crow calls
last crow on earth
it seemed
and how does
grass
stay short
this half ?

when did the sun
cease to warm
them ?

bus ride
back row window
gazing
best hour
of her
wistful nights
as the grass
stops growing
glowing traffic
stubborn

the good
you do
wont go
unnoticed
and jesus loves you !

for you
he made
the sky
a screen
that always shows
a pretty picture

peak through
side door
cracked panes
dirty from the rain
last summer
mix your mug
your coffee cup

is there more
to this
screen door
and should
you leave
the latch
unlocked ?

unlocked
with all
infective evil
swirling
you packed
your peace
your patience
whered you learn ?
it was not
in your
nurses training .
